Car Key Locksmith in Las Americas Area
That $3 key from the hardware store opened the door fine. Then the security light started flashing. A Camry owner at Las Americas Premium Outlets had a copy made, tried it in the ignition, and the engine wouldn't fire. The blade was cut right. The grooves matched. But there was no transponder chip inside the key head, and the car's immobilizer saw a blank piece of metal and shut the fuel system down. I cut a proper high-security blade on the Condor, programmed a 4D-67 chip with the Smart Pro, and the Camry started on the first turn.

OUR TOOLSET FOR Las Americas Area
Transponder Key Programming
The reason your 2012 Toyota Camry cranks but won't start with that new key is the missing transponder chip. Hardware stores cut the blade profile, but the immobilizer needs a 4D-67 chip broadcasting an encrypted signal before it releases the fuel injectors. I program a proper chip through the diagnostic port using the Smart Pro, matching it to the vehicle's security module. One visit at Las Americas. $145-$185.
Lockout Service
The reason your Chevy Silverado is locked with the keys sitting on the seat is a door latch that doesn't care about your plans. I use an air wedge and long-reach tool to pop the lock without touching the paint or trim. $105-$145, right in the Las Americas lot.
Car Key Replacement
The reason your Ford F-150 won't start with a replacement key is the PATS module. Ford's Passive Anti-Theft System requires the transponder chip to broadcast an encrypted signal to the PCM. A blank metal key sends nothing. I decode the lock with an HU101 Lishi, cut a fresh blade on the Condor, and register a 4D-63 chip to the PATS module via the OBD-II connector using the Autel IM608. An F-150 owner near Virginia Avenue tried two hardware store copies before calling me. Both turned the ignition. Neither started the truck. Fifteen minutes and a proper transponder chip solved it. $145-$185.
Ignition Repair & Replacement
The reason your Honda Accord's key barely turns anymore is worn brass wafers inside the ignition cylinder. Years of daily use grind them down until the wafer stack binds against the blade. I pull the cylinder, swap the failed wafers, and re-pin everything to match your original HON66 key cut. Here's the caveat: if the cylinder walls are scored too deep, a rebuild won't hold and you need the full housing. I'll tell you which one before any work starts. $175-$275 depending on rebuild versus full replacement.
