Car Key Locksmith in Funk Zone
The first thing I hear on most Funk Zone calls: "I already tried everything." Last month that meant a BMW X3 owner outside Municipal Winemakers who'd called two locksmiths, both no-shows, then spent an hour on hold with roadside assistance. Key was gone. Car wedged between two valet lines on Yanonali with no room for a flatbed. I walked up, read the lock with a Lishi HU92, decoded all six cuts, ran a blank through the Dolphin XP-005, and synced the CAS module transponder using the VVDI Key Tool Plus. Driving in under forty minutes. "Everything" turned out to be everything except calling someone who carries the right tools.

KEY TYPES WE HANDLE
Car Key Replacement
After a Honda CR-V owner on Yanonali lost the only key somewhere along the Urban Wine Trail, roadside assistance told them three days and a tow to the dealer. I decoded the HON66 keyway with a Lishi, pulled the key code by VIN, and cut a new sidewinder blade on the Dolphin XP-005. Transponder registered through the diagnostic port in under an hour. $175-$225.
Push-to-Start / Smart Key
After buying an aftermarket proximity fob online and failing to get it paired, a Hyundai Tucson owner near Stearns Wharf called me convinced the car's computer was broken. It wasn't. The fob was the wrong frequency for that model year. Before I charge anything, I check the FCC ID on whatever you've already bought. If it matches, I run the all-keys-lost procedure through the VVDI Key Tool Plus and register the new fob to the push-to-start module. If it doesn't match, I'll tell you before you spend a dollar. The right blank, properly paired, runs $245-$325.
Transponder Key Programming
After a hardware-store copy turned the ignition on a Toyota RAV4 near The Lark but killed the engine before it could idle, I read the original lock with a Lishi TOY43 and cloned the correct H-chip data onto a proper transponder blank. The blade was fine. The immobilizer doesn't care about blade shape. It needs an encrypted chip signal, and a blank metal key sends nothing. $145-$185.
Lockout Service
After the owner of a Ford Escape tried a coat hanger and scratched the doorframe outside a Funk Zone tasting room, I used an air wedge and long-reach tool to trip the interior unlock. Careful entry, clean finish. $95-$125.
