Car Key Locksmith in Rancho Del Rey
Jumped the dead battery on a Hyundai Tucson in a Rancho Del Rey driveway. Car started fine off the cables. Ten minutes later, neither fob would unlock the doors and the security light started blinking on the dash. The deep discharge wiped the body control module's stored fob IDs. I connected a voltage stabilizer to hold the electrical system steady, ran a BCM reset through the Autel IM608, and re-registered both fobs to the smart key module. Passive entry, push-to-start, everything restored. No dealer visit, no tow.

WHAT THE VAN CARRIES
Transponder Key Programming
After a dead battery on your Nissan Rogue, the immobilizer module lost its transponder registration. I pulled fault codes with the diagnostic scanner, confirmed the ID46 chip was still intact, and re-wrote the transponder ID to the immobilizer using the VVDI Key Tool. The key that wouldn't start the engine five minutes earlier fired it clean. Transponder key $145-$185.
Lockout Service
After a dead battery on your Subaru Outback, the power locks and fob went completely unresponsive. I bypassed the dead electrics with an air wedge and long-reach tool, got the door open, then connected a jump pack to bring everything back online. Lockout $105-$145.
Push-to-Start / Smart Key
After a dead battery on your Kia Sportage, the smart key module lost sync with both fobs. The car cranked off a jump but wouldn't recognize either key once the cables came off. I stabilized voltage with a jump pack, cleared the stored fault codes from the BCM, and re-registered both proximity fobs through the vehicle's data port. Passive entry and push-to-start confirmed at every door handle before I left the Costco Rancho Del Rey lot. Smart key $245-$325.
Key Fob Programming
After a dead battery on your Hyundai Tucson, the body control module dropped both fob IDs from memory. This is the call where someone jumps the car, drives to work, and then neither fob works when they come back out. The BCM needs a full reset and each fob re-paired individually. I run the reset sequence with the diagnostic scanner, register fob one, verify every function, register fob two, verify again. Lock, unlock, trunk, panic, remote start if the vehicle has it. Takes about twenty minutes at your driveway off Rancho Del Rey Parkway. Key fob programming $165-$215.
